THE GRIP

The fact that too many players grip the club too much with their plam.
When gripping too much with the palm, there will be too much movement in the club during the swing.
Unless u sit your left hand particularly correctly, U wont be able to use your hands correctly, wont be able to use ur wrist actions right, And will cause a whole lot of bad shots.

Hold the Club parallel to the ground right in front of me, I have my thumb going right down on the centre of the shaft and I can see 2 knuckles on my left hand.  Make sure when u open your left hand, the club is gripped across the palm through the first finger. Not purely a palm grip but grip with ur palm and ur fingers together.

AIMING CONSISTENTLY AT THE TARGET

Most people never learn to aim the club properly at the target thus making the shot going different directions. A lot of people tend to put their feet first aiming at the target and put the club down and hopefully they are lined up. But very seldom are u this way actually lined up at the target. Actually your feet is the least concerned when lining up at the target.

The thing your have to remember is the only thing that is aimed at the target is the club face. Firstly get the club face aimed at the target, and the BODY parallel to ur club face. Your feet, knees, hips, shoulders and eye line are parallel to the club face. Always aim your club face first, then your body.

A drill to really check the position when the club is on top during your back-swing.

This is a drill to really check whether the club is really in a good position during the backswing(when on top).  Which means whether u swung the club in a good plane, that really helps with consistency.
Many players swing it too far round,  too flat a swing plane.  And other players swing the club too steep.
This drill is very simple. Just swing the club all the way till the top, loosen your grip and let the club fall and see where it touches. The club should just fall on the tip of the shoulder. If its too steep, It will hit your on the head and if you’re too flat and u let go of it, the club will fall behind you.C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\New Folder\SANY0035.JPG
